Welcome to Shenlha Tours and Travels! By booking a tour or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully before making any reservations.
1. Booking and Confirmation
Booking Process:
To book a tour package, you must complete the booking form provided on our website or contact our team directly for a customized itinerary. Once your booking details are confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email.
Booking Confirmation:
A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of a deposit or full payment (depending on the package) and the issuance of a booking confirmation by Shenlha Tours and Travels. Until then, all bookings are subject to availability.
Payment Methods:
We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and digital payment platforms. All payments must be made in full before the start of your tour unless otherwise agreed.
2. Prices and Payment
Prices:
All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless specified otherwise. The prices mentioned on our website or provided by our agents are indicative and may change based on availability, seasonality, and specific requirements.
Inclusions:
Each tour package includes specific services such as accommodation, transportation, meals, and activities, as detailed in the itinerary. Any additional services requested will be charged separately and must be confirmed in advance.
Payment Schedule:
For customized tours, a deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation. The final payment is due at least 15 days before the departure date unless otherwise specified.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation by the Traveler:
If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing (via email shenlhatoursandtravels@gmail.com). Cancellation charges will apply as follows:
- More than 30 days before departure: Full refund (minus any applicable processing fees).
- 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
Approved refunds will be credit into original payment method within 5-7 business days.
4. Changes to Your Itinerary
Modifications by the Traveler:
If you wish to modify your itinerary, you must inform us in writing at least 7 days before the start of your tour. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but certain modifications may incur additional charges or may not be possible due to availability.
Modifications by Shenlha Tours and Travels:
While we strive to ensure that the itinerary remains unchanged, Shenlha Tours and Travels reserves the right to make alterations to the tour schedule, accommodation, or activities if necessary. These changes will be communicated to you as soon as possible. In case of major changes, you will have the option to accept the modification or request a full refund.
5. Traveler’s Responsibilities
Health and Fitness:
Certain tours and trekking packages may involve physical activity. It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure they are physically fit for the chosen activity. We recommend consulting with a medical professional before booking adventurous or strenuous treks.
Travel Documents:
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that they have all necessary travel documents (such as a valid passport, visa, permits, etc.) for the trip. Shenlha Tours and Travels will not be responsible for any issues arising due to incomplete or invalid documentation.
Behavior and Conduct:
We expect all travelers to behave responsibly and respectfully toward local customs, cultures, and other participants. Shenlha Tours and Travels reserves the right to remove any traveler who engages in disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate behavior without any refund.
6. Liability and Disclaimer
Limitation of Liability:
Shenlha Tours and Travels acts as an intermediary between the traveler and service providers such as hotels, transport companies, and local guides. We are not liable for any direct or indirect loss, injury, or damage resulting from accidents, delays, theft, or any other unforeseen circumstances during the course of your trip.
Force Majeure:
Shenlha Tours and Travels will not be liable for any delay, change, or cancellation caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, terrorism, or pandemics. In such cases, we will attempt to offer alternative solutions or refunds as appropriate.
7. Special Requests
If you have any special requests (dietary preferences, accommodation preferences, accessibility needs, etc.), please inform us in advance. While we will make every effort to accommodate these requests, they cannot be guaranteed.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal Information:
By booking with Shenlha Tours and Travels, you consent to us collecting and processing your personal data as per our Privacy Policy. We will use your information solely for booking purposes, communication regarding your trip, and improving our services.
Security:
We ensure the protection of your personal data using secure technologies. However, please be aware that no online system can be completely secure, and we advise you to take precautions when sharing sensitive information online.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your booking or use of services will be resolved in accordance with Indian law.
Dispute Resolution:
In case of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt an amicable resolution. If no resolution can be reached, the dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Gangtok, Sikkim.
10. Acceptance of Terms
